creature of habit

i walked to the store today
to buy a muffin
and some cheese
i like muffins and
i like cheese
the muffin had blueberries
and tasted more
like candy than a muffin
the cheese came in a
cylindrical wooden box
about two inches tall
and five across
i bought bread to go with my cheese
at another stand down the street
it was fresh and left
flour on my hands as
i walked with it
